Cancellation or refund of the entry fee is only possible if the Race Storno option was booked in addition to the registration. Cancellation by email to info@hochfuegen-hightrails.at

Yes, but only after contacting the organizer.

You can pick up your race bib either on Friday (8:30 am to 6:00 pm) or Saturday (8:30 am to 3:00 pm) before race day at the TVB Info Office in Fügen, or on race day from 7:30 am at the start.

The following equipment is mandatory:

HightrailRun:

  • Trailrunning shoes
  • Food and drink
  • Personal beaker (mug, cup, bottle or flask)
  • Rain jacket
  • Rescue blanket
  • Mobile phone with emergency numbers 140, 112 and SOS EU ALP App

FunRun:

  • Mobile phone with emergency numbers 140, 112 and SOS EU ALP App

 

The food carried to the race must be labelled with the start number. Waste may only be disposed of at the refreshment stations. Violation of this rule will result in disqualification.

Not carrying the mandatory equipment will also result in disqualification.

Yes, poles are permitted – but must be carried from the start to the finish.

Arrival / Accommodation / Transfer

You can arrive comfortably by train or public transport. You can find all the information you need here:

Of course you can also arrive by car but please try to choose an environmentally friendly way to get here in the interests of the environment.

There are 2 options:

  1. You book your accommodation by yourself
  2. You book the Hotel Package through our partner HOST, you can find the link here: https://hochfuegen-hightrails.at/en/welcome/#anmeldung
    • Choose between 1 – 4 nights in a 4-star hotel directly at the start and finish
    • Includes a generous breakfast buffet
    • Includes use of the wellness area with pool, sauna, steam bath and relaxation zone
    • Central location in the middle of the festival grounds – no transfer necessary

You can park directly at the event location (Hochfügen, 6264 Fügenberg / Hochfügen Talstation>>).
Parking is provided free of charge.

HightrailRun: there are 2 refreshment stations and 1 checkpoint.

FunRun: there is one refreshment station

Participation with a dog is permitted under the following conditions:

  • The dog must be kept on a leash for the entire duration of the event
  • The dog must be muzzled in the start and finish area
  • Participation is out of competition
  • The dog must be insured – the dog owner is fully liable
  • A veterinary certificate or confirmation of a vet check must be submitted
  • It is obligatory to start at the very end of the field of participants
  • Equipment and food for the dog must be carried by the dog owner

Generally, the Hochfügen Hightrails Festival takes place in all weathers. However, in case of extreme weather conditions that endanger the safety of the participants, we reserve the right to change sections of the course or to adapt or even cancel the event or individual stages at short notice.

There are time limits only for the HightrailRun, at the two refreshment stations and at the checkpoint.
You can find them on the interactive map by clicking on the red icons marked “V” or “CP”: https://hochfuegen-hightrails.at/en/welcome/#strecken

The time limits will also be sent by E-Mail to all participants with the “Participant handout” in time before the event.

Failure to comply with the time limits will result in a “DNF” and you will have to return to the start via the exit lines on your own responsibility.

The refreshment stations and the checkpoint know about the exit lines and provide information.

The following categories will be evaluated:

HightrailRun:

  • Individual ranking: m/w
    • Overall
    • Age categories: 20+ / 45+ / 55+ / 65+

FunRun:

  • 3-person team ranking: m/w mixed (for team of 4 & 5, the 3 fastest will be classified)
  • Individual ranking: m/w
    • Overall

Yes, you will receive 1 ITRA point for the successful participation in the HightrailRun.

The pictures are usually provided immediately after the event via a link on social media (Facebook & Instagram).

After the event, all pictures will be collected and sorted and sent to all participants by E-Mail via a link.
